The device has a front lit system with color temperature control and a flexible plastic base, which increases its reliability.

Both of the devices have the same screen size but Onyx Boox Nova Air color features a 7.8 inch E INK Carta HD and E INK Kaleido Plus color filter array. The B&W display has 300 PPI and the color has 100 PPI. Though the technology of color E Ink Tablets is quite new but I think its still great for those who want to read Mangas
